Überlingen - Recognition at the German SME Summit: Ranga Yoge-shwar extends his congratulations to the BURGER GROUP from Schonach in the Black Forest on being awarded the TOP 100 seal. The award ceremony at the Summit will take place on Friday, June 28, in Weimar for all SMEs that received the TOP 100 seal at the beginning of the year. The science journalist is serving as a mentor for the 31st annual innovation competition. In the scientific selection process, the BURGER GROUP demonstrated particular strength in the "Climate of Innovation" category, particularly in the size category C (over 200 employees). This marks the 13th time that the company has been recognized as one of the top innovators.

The drive solutions from this medium-sized company meet the exact needs of customers. The company's business model requires a high level of inventiveness. However, the company has recently expanded its innovative strength by gradually integrating ten partner companies. "As a group, we now combine many areas of knowledge, which has created synergies. We can also pick up on trends more quickly and reflect them," states Managing Partner Thomas Burger. The Group is also investing in its climate of innovation, for example with the "Burger Academy," which offers targeted and broad-based further training to employees. The Group is also working closely with external knowledge providers, such as Offenburg University of Applied Sciences. "We are sponsors of the 'Cobotics' chair there and are driving research and development forward together," says Burger. The medium-sized company is already a pioneer in this field. "We currently utilize over 100 robots, including both collaborative and classic models. This allows us to achieve a high degree of automation," states Thomas Burger.
