KBS-BLECHFORMTECHNIK GmbH, along with 32 other companies in Baden-Württemberg, received the award “Volunteer-friendly employer in civil protection.” The award is presented annually to companies in Baden-Württemberg that have supported their employees in their voluntary work in civil protection for many years.
Volunteers are the mainstay of civil protection in our country. It is a fact that civil protection works so well in our country precisely because many volunteers put their heart and soul into it. It is always also a service to our community—and often it is a matter of life and death.
The Deputy Minister President and Minister of the Interior Thomas Strobl presented this important award to Heike Görlacher in Merzhausen on January 19, 2023. The department commander of the Villingen fire brigade, Robert Friedrich, on the far left of the picture, as well as the overall commander of Villingen-Schwenningen, Markus Mägerle, and the mayor of the city of Villingen-Schwenningen, Jürgen Roth, are delighted about the prestigious award.
