We are currently seeking an experienced Shift Leader to support the growth of our production facility. 



  • Provide direction, feedback and support to workers on afternoon shift
  • Provide regular trainings and evaluate performance of trainings
  • Ensure Health & Safety standards, company policies and guidelines are followed
  • Resolve conflicts between workers
  • Foster and maintain a positive work environment
  • Report any issues that arise during the shift to Production Supervisor
  • Report technical issues to Production Supervisor and Automation Team Act as first point of contact for any issues that arise
  • Oversee and ensure all duties and tasks are being performed efficiently and effectively during the afternoon shift
  • Communicate daily with Production Supervisor to discuss goals, progress, and any issues in need of resolution
  • Support inventory organization and restocking of materials for the line
  • Ensure organization and cleanliness of plant floor at all times
  • Liaise with department Supervisor’s on daily operations
  • Provide troubleshooting on automation and manual assembly equipment
  • Ensure all production quantities are recorded correctly on the production boards and the daily production reports are submitted to warehouse office for booking

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience as a Shift leader or relevant leadership role (2+ years)
  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience, automotive manufacturing considering as asset
  • Highschool Diploma
  • WHMIS & Health & Safety Training for JHSC Part 1 & 2, an asset

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 3:00pm to 11:30pm Salary determinations are dependent upon experience, skills and education. Employee Health Benefit & RRSP Contribution Plans offered after 6 month Probationary Period.
